ITERCON achieves the EcoVadis gold classification for its sustainability

  • The universal provider of sustainability qualifications recognizes ITERCON’s commitment to the environment.
  • The score obtained by the company exceeds that of 96% of the companies evaluated.

ITERCON, the benchmark Spanish construction company in the industrial field, has been awarded the medal Gold, that the international sustainability qualifier, EcoVadis granted after an exhaustive evaluation based on the evidence in matters of the environment, labor, human rights and responsible purchasing.

ITERCON has reached a 96th percentile, which means that the score obtained by the company is higher than that of 96% of the companies evaluated. This outstanding position is the result of the corporate social responsibility strategy on which the company has been working for years.

In the words of Gabriel Fernandez, president of ITERCON, “Achieving a gold rating from EcoVadis is further proof of the commitment of our company, which has been working for years to reduce its footprint and provide increasing value to society through a strategic plan that includes social, environmental and financial measures”.

With this new certification, added to those already obtained by ITERCON, the company reaffirms its commitment to reducing emissions, as well as reducing the consumption of natural resources.

In addition, the company has focused on making sustainable purchases and improving different labor practices and human rights. Recently, ITERCON has applied a new equality policy that has been key in obtaining this recognition.
