ITERCON, a global design and construction firm belonging to the CYCLUS Group, has opened its new offices in Málaga. The opening solidifies the company’s presence in southern Spain and reflects the growth of its business in Andalusia since it entered the region in 2024.
Located on Puerta del Mar Street, right in the heart of the city, the new office will serve a technical and operational role and will house a permanent team that will provide support for projects carried out in Andalusia. This structure will allow us to strengthen our relationships with clients and partners, facilitate coordination with construction sites, and continue to gradually expand ITERCON’s team in the region.
The opening ceremony brought together representatives from the institutional and business sectors, as well as the company’s clients and partners, along with the management teams of ITERCON and Grupo CYCLUS. Among those in attendance were Francisco de la Torre, mayor of Málaga, and Alicia Izquierdo, councilwoman for Innovation, Urban Digitalization, Promotion of Technological and Business Investment, and Investment Attraction for the Málaga City Council.
“This new office reinforces our commitment to Andalusia and provides us with a stable structure from which to continue growing. We want to be close to our projects, clients, and partners, respond quickly to their needs, and continue to bring on talented people. Málaga is experiencing a period of great entrepreneurial and technological dynamism, and we want to support that development from here,” says Alejandro Gallego, managing directorof ITERCON.
The choice of the city as the site for this permanent facility coincides with ITERCON’s progress on projects related to sectors that are strategic for the economic and technological development of Andalusia. Among these is the new IMEC center at Málaga TechPark. The facility will be dedicated to the research and development of advanced semiconductor technologies and will help establish the capital of the Costa del Sol as a leader in the technology industry.
A few kilometers away, in the Intelhorce industrial park, ITERCON has completed a state-of-the-art logistics hub for one of the sector’s leading international operators as the end client. The company’s track record in the province also extends to Estepona, where it has built the underground parking garage and redeveloped the area surrounding the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Church, and is making progress on the construction of the Bulevar Parque Central parking garage. In addition to these projects, the company was recently awarded a contract for a storm water retention tank designed to improve the municipality’s stormwater management.
