The centre will be built on a plot of almost 100,000 square meters, of which 58,000 square meters will be used for the main building, which will be distributed in the storage area, offices, and compactor rooms, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The building has been designed ad hoc for the end customer, adapting the building to their needs. This is a multinational company of non-food household products for what will be its first logistics centre in the country. For this reason, the building was divided into six areas, three of which will be prepared for the specific storage of chemical products.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the joint aim of ITERCON, Montepino and Urban to develop sustainable projects that favour the use of renewable energies, the use of environmentally friendly materials and the reduction of the carbon footprint, both in the construction process and during the useful life of the building, the building will opt for two of the most internationally renowned certifications in the field of sustainable construction.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, the BREEAM certification in the Excellent category, a recognition that has previously been awarded to a set of warehouses built by ITERCON; and on the other hand, it will aspire to receive the LEED (Leader in Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Design) quality seal at the Gold level, which guarantees the sustainability of new constructions.<\/p>\n<p>For this purpose, the building under construction will have temperature-controlled air conditioning, in addition to an installation of photovoltaic elements on the entire roof of the building, with the aim of covering almost the entire building with renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new logistics centre has been designed specifically for the final customer with areas for chemical warehousing.
